Louise Symington is a Board-Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, graduate of Trinity School of Natural Health and a Food as Medicine Functional Nutrition Professional.
Louise began her career in Food and Nutrition in her teens when she was asked to cook for a family of 15 at their summer residence, then continued to build and train at L’Academie de Cuisine in Maryland after earning a Bachelor of Arts. She was raised by parents who both extolled the virtues of healthy lifestyle – a mother trained as a Dietician, teacher and marine biologist and a father passionate about people, gardening and spirituality – both avid sports enthusiasts and served in the US Air Force. These values shaped her as an adult before she began a career in food and nutrition. She then developed technical training and curriculum while working as a Business Analyst, and Project Manager, focusing on root cause analysis, data insights and process engineering.
She maintained her interest in health and wellness, mentoring friends since the late 1990s in the ways that natural remedies could help them and studied yoga, Feng Shui, martial arts, herbology, and eventually decided to formalize her passion for helping people by showing them how natural remedy sources, modalities and therapies are our Creator's inherent plan for each individual's best health and healing.
